Thank you for the headline keyword tips. Here are a couple of things that I believe in when writing headlines:
1) Don't use negatives, "Has you downline failed you?"or "if nothing is working for you, give this a try".
2) Ask a question,"Do you qualify for this exclusive, residual income?"
3) As a MLM'r, "residual income", "success guaranteed" and "passive income" are the keywords that trigger my interest.
4) Stay away from common, over used catch phrases, like "$10 million dollars a month possible", "fire your boss", etc.
In reference to number one, you want a person with a positive attitude to view your opportunity.
In reference to number two. you are playing on a person's curiosity, they think they probably qualify, but really want to be sure.
Number 3 speaks for itself, and number 4...well, you just don't want to turn people off, they have heard all this before, over and over again. What's the chances of earning that kind of money for the average guy, and for the above average guy for that matter?

Hey Randy great post. Head lines and ad copy are toughies. Yea I'm not a fan of free. After watching my mentor for years before jumping into the game for myself I saw as a spectator the crowd that drew, no thank you.
Personally I like headlines that are a little zanie. I like to specialize in 80's references myself, but really that's just how I like to have fun with it.

Anyway thanks for the great post.

Hey Randy great post.
I really liked the presentation. My only criticism would not being able to see your eyes in the video. I enjoy blog posts that are well done and give the information hard and fast. I know I can be guilty of being long winded at times. Awesome incorporating the slight of hand into the video/post. The is really what good marketing is all about. Selling without really selling.

Hey Dave, I appreciate your comments and your candidness. I agree that husband and wife teams do have a higher success rate online because of the support and leverage.

OK read your post and all the responses following. This topic is really important to me, thanks for writing on it. In my house it's kind of the 800lbs. gorilla in the corner.

It's not that my wife doesn't support me, it's that she just doesn't get it, and I'm not sure she wants to. I quote " When you talk about blogs I just here blah, blah, blah." this is one of the comments I've gotten. SO I'm still trying to figure out how to get us on the same page. More then that I'd love for her to get involved. I actually think husband and wife teams have a higher success rate on-line.

Thanks again great post Randy.

Wow, that is pretty intense. I guess those of us who do have understanding spouses are pretty lucky!

I have heard of cases where entrepreneurs have placed great strains on their marriages and family lives in their quest for the almighty dollar. I believe that being ambitious is a good thing but there should also be balance too.

I know folks that have had their Spouse divorce them because of their online business. It isn't just important to have your spouse on board it's absolutely critical..

I believe divorce for entrepreneurs is higher in the usa than Financial Strains, Neglect, Lack of communication and Divergent goals.

Great Post!

Hi Nathan, thanks for sharing your experience. It's great that your wife has a business background which probably made it way easier for her to understand.

Randy, I can identify with being very lucky in that my wife supports my business, it is a great help.

Now, getting my wife's support in the first place... I was having trouble explaining what I did and how it will make money until I connected it back to traditional network marketing. Since my wife is an offline marketer(makeup), I just simply lumped internet marketing into the tool bin as an additional tool for networking.

But "proof of concept(in dollars)" is the easiest explanation
